The Office of the Secretary of State files, retains and certifies the authenticity of a wide variety of official documents, including:

These documents are public records and available for public inspection and purchase. While certain types of documents may have a statutory requirement that they be filed with the Office of the Secretary of State, the office has no statutory authority to seek out documents that have not been filed.

The Office of Secretary of State also has images of the enrolled acts of the Minnesota Legislature from sessions since 2009. All enrolled acts are also available online at the Office of the Revisor of Statutes.
